Dr. Chris Simpson, former Chief Medical Information Officer at Novari Health, and former President of the Canadian Medical Association will be presenting at Breakfast with the Chiefs on September 25, 2019 in Toronto.
Dr. Simpson’s presentation focuses on “Ontario’s Access to Care Challenges from My Side of the Gurney and Computer”. By international standards, Canada performs poorly in all areas of access to care. Whether it is access to primary, specialist, mental health, surgical, ALC, palliative or home care, we systematically under perform. As a clinician Dr. Simpson sees the effects of this on his patients every day. As the former chief medical information officer for a technology vendor, he sees how modern technology can help improve wait times and access to care across the care continuum.
Novari Health is a proud sponsor of Breakfast with the Chiefs. Breakfast with the Chiefs are educational sessions, providing Chief Executives the opportunity to get together and share new ideas, policies, and best practices with colleagues. Speakers are Chief Executive Officers, notable researchers, cabinet ministers, deputies, or leaders within the academic community. For more information about Breakfast with the Chiefs is available online.
