Dr. Chris Simpson, former Chief Medical Information Officer at Novari Health, and former President of the Canadian Medical Association will be presenting at the National Summit on Integrated Care on Wednesday, September 25, 2019, in Toronto.
Dr. Simpson’s presentation will focus on leveraging and scaling out digital tools to improve access to care across the care continuum. Digital transformations are essential to realizing improvements in healthcare delivery and outcomes; but determining how to best start, and how to incorporate, and scale, digital tools remains an area of confusion. The presentation will outline how to create an action plan for leveraging digital tools to: increase Canada’s healthcare performance and access to care, deliver on your mandate of improving patient continuum of care, and implement eReferral and central intake for mental health, addictions, diabetes, diagnostic imaging, and more. Session attendees can take back practical strategies and solutions for scaling out digital tools in their organization.
The National Summit on Integrated care brings together healthcare providers from hospitals, long-term care homes, community and mental health, primary care, as well as health ministries, health authorities, research institutes, and industry solution providers. More information on the National Summit on Integrated Care and registration information can be found online.
