MIS has partnered with Novari Health to offer their First Nations Health Centres and social service agencies Novari’s virtual care technologies. The Novari eVisit™ technology is being integrated with the MIS Community Electronic Medical Record (cEMR) solution to enable MIS users the ability to virtually interact with First Nation members.
The first cohort of Indigenous users are live and using the Novari eVisit™ virtual care solution. The immediate value of this MIS lead initiative is improving both the quality of care as well as access to care for First Nations members.
MIS’ new service offering of Novari eVisit™ allows registered clients to access members of their wellness team virtually – using messaging, voice calling, and video conferencing from mobile and desktop devices, all secure and privacy compliant. Virtual services include primary care, mental wellness, homecare, personal support, maternal child health, youth work, crisis counselling, and more.

Leveraging Novari eVisit™ allows MIS clients and caregivers to create and manage their detailed profile, including demographics, clinical information, contact preferences, and pharmacy/lab preferences. If appropriate, clients can create sub-accounts for family members and dependents to allow for family or caregivers to manage virtual care for young children or aging parents.
